Function rooms and event spaces across two floors
The 6 function spaces at Crowne Plaza Sydney Macquarie Park accommodate 8 to 90 delegates, with room configurations that flex across theatre, classroom, U-shape, cabaret, banquet, and boardroom layouts.
Macquarie Park 1 and 2 are the largest rooms in the property, available independently or opened as a single combined space for up to 90 guests. These rooms are purpose-built for capacity and reconfiguration. The rooms on the second floor each bring in natural light (except Denistone), offering a different quality of space for breakout sessions, parallel streams, or smaller groups working alongside the main program.
For something less structured, Bistro Sydney opens for standing events of up to 150 guests, with the outdoor courtyard and BBQ available for private functions.
Hybrid and in-person event technology
Every space includes complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and built-in AV with multi-room connectivity, supporting hybrid and virtual events across multiple platforms. Charges may apply for certain services.
Day delegate packages and catering
Day delegate packages cover the full day, half day, and a two-hour express format for events where time is tight. The culinary team works in-house from arrival refreshments and working lunches through to multi-course dinners and cocktail receptions. Offsite catering is also available for events held at external venues.
Stay on site, arrive ready
Crowne Plaza Sydney Macquarie Park’s 196 guest rooms sit directly above the event spaces. The same team looking after the conference is looking after the stay which means the two sides of a residential program stay connected.
For groups booking across multiple nights, the reservations team can hold a room block and coordinate arrivals for delegates checking in at different times. The accommodation side of a residential program, handled seamlessly.

The hotel is 120 metres from Macquarie Park Metro, 16 kilometres from the CBD, and 29 kilometres from Sydney Airport which makes it straightforward for delegates arriving from different parts of the city. Macquarie University is 1.2 kilometres away.
